Better safe than sorry
My friend laughed at me for signing up to LifeLock.com Promo Code through http://www.idtheftquiz.org. She did not believe she needs protecting till she was victimized. 
I had told her that I sensed someone is trying to put us in serious harm with the Junk mail we are receiving giving us supposed free subscriptions to cosmetic products. She filled up a form anyway with all true information about her. Within the week she was promised a make up kit, but what she received is a notice of her zero bank account. It cost her lot of money, time and efforts to regain her good name in the bank because she was also used to get a loan from the bank with a high chance of not getting paid. Though everything was resolved, her family had to pay a lot of people beforehand.
If she had gotten with me her own set of LifeLock Promo Code she would have saved herself from the situation. And even if LifeLock did not live up to their promise of protection, she would have gotten one of LifeLock Promotions which is a $1,000,000 insurance to cover her loss. She admitted that she would be better safe than sorry.
